After the debacle in 2009, I vowed not to watch the BET Awards ever again. Year after year, this show continues to reinforce negative stereotypes about black folks. Well, the whole station does. THE ONLY REASON I choose to watch this year is because Comedian Kevin Hart is the host. He's amazing, here's hoping he can make it awesome.
Here is the live blog, keep your fingers crossed.
7:57pm: What The HELL?! I don't even understand what these people are saying. OH, black chicks with booty shorts on...dancing...and everyone CURSING on live television. Yes, there are censors, but that doesn't mean you HAVE TO TEST THEM.
8PM: OMG, MARY J. BLIGE bringing her OL' School STUFF! WOOT! Great opening to the show!
